For a Season

It’s alarming to witness how Spiritually insensitive and inattentive so many have become in accepting worldly philosophies/activity rather than seeking Almighty God’s face in how we should live. The most important attribute one can employ is to be Spiritually discerning after Salvation through Christ imparts the Holy Spirit (the only true guide, conscience), but we have allowed our relationship with The Creator to lapse into ambiguity with an abrupt, cursory “God is in control”-type byline. Jehovah is ultimately in control, however, much of what goes on presently is Satan attempting to blame Him for the evil, death and destruction, while blinding mankind to the abundant goodness Almighty God imparts to us, or desires to impart. Conversely, Satan can also cause good things to come our way to make us think no change in heart/ lifestyle (aka: repentance) is necessary. Remember how he tried to tempt Christ with offers of power & riches? Matthew 4: 1-11; Luke 4: 1-13— 13 “And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from [H]im [Jesus] for a season.” ‘For a season’ indicates the devil only reorganizes, he doesn’t simply go away.

2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV—“In whom the god of this world [Satan] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

2 Corinthians 11:14 KJV—14 “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

Isaiah 5:20 KJV—20 “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

The enemy of humanity will do whatever it takes to embarrass, humiliate, shame, disgrace, etc., etc. and I am disgusted to discover how many are falling for his game plan. “Forget the basket, we’ll just dive right into hell.” How is that “empowering”?

It’s not enough to hear/read reports of the heinous activity perpetrated against others, too many are ignorantly supporting the very activity which plants the seed for such abuses–while demons laugh at ignorance of righteousness that comes only from Jehovah Tsidkenu– Jeremiah 23:5-6.

If you can’t see the moral decline festering with a societal “anything goes” attitude, a most sincere suggestion is to “Be still and know that I am God.” –Psalm 46:10. We are sadly Spiritually weak and broken when we can’t see evil for what it is, then turn around to actually defend that which will destroy.

John 10:10— “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, to kill and to destroy: I [Jesus the Christ] am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”.

Don’t be deceived to believe oppression and restrictions will suffocate your being— when Christ is at the helm, we are free, indeed.

Prayers for heeding His call.

“For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by Him from the wrath of God.” (Romans 5:6-9)

Below is a summary of my notes from a while back regarding those who saw Jesus the Christ after His resurrection. We are witnesses to the chaotic power struggle when gathering a group of people trying to reach an (honest) consensus of events, however, the following verses list those who saw the risen Christ at different times and proclaim that it was, indeed, Him! Hallelujah! Word4it
